India celebrated the 76th Republic Day celebrations on Kartavya Path here on Sunday (January 26, 2025) as the nation also marked 75 years since the Constitution came into effect.The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence by the NCC Unit and Department of Physical Education under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell at Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Khiala, Jalandhar. As we are well aware of the fact that Republic Day, celebrated annually on January 26th, holds a special place in the hearts of Indians. This day marks the adoption of the Constitution of India, which replaced the Government of India Act 1935, officially making India a Republic.
